Twiggd

Twiggd is the work of Edinburgh based Tara, who makes colourful and illustrative lasercut wooden jewellery and interior accessories based on her original drawings and random scribblings.

She works using a mixture of traditional and modern techniques, imputing her drawings into laser cutting software and then hand-painting and finishing every piece.

Tara studied Fashion and Textile Design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee and then Traditional Woodwork and Cabinet Making. When she graduated she set up Twiggd and now design and make a range of playful jewellery and interior accessories that incorporate her love of woodwork, fashion and illustration.

Inspiration comes from many places including- living by the sea, favourite books, tv shows and films, Scottish culture, people watching and funny words.

All pieces are designed and made by Tara in her Edinburgh studio.​
