Tongs Ya Bass Mug - Gie It Laldy - Braw Wee Emporium
£11.00

Tongs Ya Bass Mug by Gie it Laldy now available at the Braw Wee Emporium.

Tongland is a local nickname for the area of Calton, Glasgow controlled in the 1960s by a violent Scottish teenage gang called the Tongs

Gie it Laldy is an attitude. It means to do something with great enthusiasm, with 100% effort. Their designs are inspired by their late Grandmother, bringing together strong geometric forms and a sweet take on modern Scottish life and culture.

All of Gie it Laldy's products are produced locally by Lisa Donati in her studio and with local printers in and around Glasgow. Our paper goods are printed on 100% recycled board (that’s luxury 350g board) using vegetable based inks where possible. They strive to support and promote local business, maintaining as minimal a carbon footprint as possible.
It’s a strong and sturdy 11oz ceramic mug, measuring 92mm high by 80mm diameter and is no safe to fire into the dishwasher. Dae it yersel and keep it nice.

Hand-printed by Lisa Donati and packaged in a neat white box - what a gallus gift!
