Been to a Braw Wee Lampshade or Bottle Lamp Workshop and fancy making more of your own. Or are you just up for giving it a wee go yourself?

This kit makes you a professional Bottle Lamp with a drum lampshade from the Bottle and covering of your choice for the lampshade.

There is no drilling required as the kit is supplied with an easy to use adaptor, just push the lamp holder into the bottle opening at the top, and then you can fit your lampshade.

Easy to use, laminate your covering to the self-adhesive lampshade panel and follow the step by step instructions.What size will my covering need to be?

Your covering needs to be 970mm wide x 255mm to cover the self-adhesive panel supplied. The adaptor fits most bottles but see the specifications below.

Bottle Adaptor Specifications
- For use with light bulbs up to 60W max.
- Pushbar switch on BC lamp holder turns light on and off.
- Ready fitted with 13A plug (and 3A fuse).
- Approximately 2 metres of flexible cable included.
- Fits bottles with a hole between 17mm to 19mm diameter.

What type of lamp holder will this lamp shade fit
The lampshade frame included in your kit will fit the standard bayonet cap (BC) lamp holder.
This is the most common type of lamp fitting in the UK today. It can also be used with Edison Screw (E27) lamp holders, most common in Europe, simply remove the converter plug in the centre of the fitting.
